Sheriff Ammon Ward

William Ammon Ward was born April 6, 1911 in Bee Branch, Arkansas. His parents were E. G. (Garland) and Ethel Ward. He graduated from Southside High School and was a grocery store operator and livestock farmer. Mr. Ward spent most of his life in eastern Van Buren County with his wife. He died May 5, 1973 and is buried in the Pine Mountain Cemetery at Gravesville, Arkansas.
